ABOUT Eileen
I guess you could say it was a mid-life crisis that brought me back to creating art. Like many people, I loved making art as a child, and then for a variety of reasons, I fell out of the habit. I came back to it in the late 90s by taking watercolor courses at the Art League and No Va Community College in my then-adopted hometown of Alexandria, VA. I now focus on mosaic arts and crafts, as well as mixed media, gel printing and various types of painting.
In March of 2025, I returned to my home state of Illinois, setting up shop in the college town of Urbana. It's been fun, and a bit challenging, entering into a new art community and finding my new art homes (see below).

Shows and Exhibits
My mosaics and mixed media pieces are primarily on display as one of the artists showcased in the Vault, a 12,000-square-foot gallery in Tuscola, IL. I hope to expand the number of venues that show my art soon, and am very excited to return to the Beverly Art Walk in Chicago for the sixth year in a row!

Beverly Art Walk, September 26th, 11am-5pm. One of six artists featured at Two Mile Coffee, 9907 S Walden Parkway. Artwork is still on display and for sale indefinitely!
Craft League of Champaign Urbana Holiday Market, November 7-8, 10 am-4pm. at Savoy Rec Center, 402 W Graham Drive.
